A great feature of CrewChief is the Priority Event functionality. PE acts as a lone worker or man-down type alerting system. PE is not connected to 911, or monitored by emergency services. It is designed to alert one or multiple people in your organization which can evaluate and escalate the response. Since multiple people can be alerted simultaneously, redundancy is built in. 

Alerting Process

To initiate a priority event, the user simply clicks the cross icon on the top of the map. There are several optional fields to include more information, but they are not required. Photos or video can be included to provide additional information to aid in the response effort.
