Manual Trip for Off-Road Trips & Operator ID

There are two aspects of this feature which go together. Tracking off-road mileage is important to document travel eligible for off-road fuel tax rebates. This can apply to equipment or vehicles.

Operator ID is achieved at the same time. Identifying or tracking operators in slow moving assets such as a bulldozer or excavator can be challenging and an added expense. 

Reporting

In the app, the information is currently stored under the Activity List. Future plans will include reports on the web portal. 

In Geotab, the driver ID is added to the Trip History report where the Driver Name appears. This requires a Geotab GO Rugged or GO9 be installed in the equipment.
