Work vs Personal Activity

The CrewChief mobile app provides a function called Private Mode. Private mode enables a user to separate work activity from personal activity. In private mode, user information is not provided to an employer through a linked business account. 

Private Mode vs Personal Time

When private mode is enabled, activity logging stops. If a users is clocked in for work, the user must clock out to end the shift before going into Private mode. In the time clock function, there is an option for Personal time. When personal time is enabled, the users mileage and time is still logged but where the user detailed activity is excluded from view on the map or in the account. Time and mileage is reported so it can be deducted from payroll or mileage reimbursement. 

Enabling Private Mode and Personal Time

When any status is changed in CrewChief, the time, date, user and location is logged. This establishes a starting and ending point for potential payroll or mileage reimbursement calculations needed by employers.
