Geotab Users

Instructions on how to enable the CrewChief with an existing Geotab account. If you do not already have a Geotab account, submit a contact form to learn more. 

Geotab Marketplace – Order Now

To enable CrewChief in Geotab, visit the Marketplace Order Now. Log into your Geotab account and select Marketplace in the left menu. Search for CrewChief in the marketplace and click Order Now. CrewChief will automatically be installed in the left menu.

If the Marketplace left menu is not visible, contact your Geotab reseller.

Connecting App Users to Your Geotab Account

The next step is to determine which drivers or employees will be using the CrewChief app. Employees in the office can use CrewChief as a timeclock from a phone or from tablet acting as a kiosk. 

The user’s email is the unique identifier. Users must be setup in Geotab as a user.  You do not need to give them permission to access the Geotab portal for them to use CrewChief.

Once configured in Geotab, the driver will login using the same email and password established for him in Geotab. If a password is not preset, the user can use the password reset function on the CrewChief app to login for the first time.

Password Requirements

The user must adhere to the password requirements setup in the MyGeotab account. The requirements can be customized so be sure the CrewChief users know the complexity requirements.
